I have a question for my husband every time he has gotton his blood work back last 2 years they say his wbc is high not that high but in the 20,s also he is always tired and always complains of aches and pains legs alot ,does this sound like something he can mention to doc (leukemia)we are just trying to find a cause.Thanks

I think its definatly worth going back to see you doc especially as your husband as a high wbc. Aches and pains in the legs can be a symptom of many things as with a high wbc such as infection.Just an example.You must make your doc is aware of all the symptoms your husband is suffering from,it all helps to make a diagnosis.In the mean time try not to worry it will only make the situation more stressfull.Goodluck.

A high WBC like you described should be evaluated. It doesn't necessarly mean leukemia, but a high WBC is a symptom for sure. Mine was 20,000 at the time of my AML M2 diagnosis two years ago.
