Re: Living longterm with CLL? Please help!!!

I was diagnos with CLL in 8/06. I had a biospy done on a swollen lymph node. And my bloodwork was terrible. I was very anemic.
I will be having my my 6th and last ( for a while I hope ) chemo. My lymph nodes are down, my bloodwork is basically normal. And I feel good, I will still have rituxan treatment every 3 months, but don't know for how long. I am 50 y/o female. CLL used to be the old man's diease, but is not the case any more. I don't think we are ever cured of CLL but can go into remission for long periods of time.
