I was recently diagnosed as having CLL. WBC = 20.2K/uL.

Pathologic Diagnosis is: Peripheral Blood: B Cell Lymphoproliferative disorder consistent with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Small Lymphocytic lymphoma.

Prior to diagnosis, I have been having chronic fatigue, night sweats, and more. My oncologist tells me that whatever symptoms I am experiencing, they absolutely are NOT related to CLL because WBC count is not high enough. Oncologist doesn't expect symptoms until WBC count reaches close to 200K (10 times higher than my current count.)

Does anyone know of documented cases where symptoms can be linked to WBC counts under 100K/uL? Has anyone heard if hypersensitivity to WBC in ranges under 100K/uL have been documented?

For years I have suffered with one severe symptom: My facial complexion will turn very pale, I will feel sick to my stomach & feel like I am going to pass out. I may have even posted on this board a few years ago about that. Unfortunately, I don't remember the old user ID. Now I am wondering if this is related to CLL.
