... T, just one thing. You dont have to have a bad infection for your WBC to rise. ANY infection can cause you WBC to elevate. Stress, allergy, sinus, are just a few of the million things that cause elevated WBC counts. ... (6 replies)

... I would say that if the dr. was concerned that you could possibly have leukemia, he would have ordered further testing. WBC can be elevated for lots of reason, infections being by far the most common. I would express your concerns to him so it will help you feel better!! ... (8 replies)
