... Any number of things can cause a high WBC count, including infections. You mentioned bleeding gums. Maybe you have a gum infection which has increased your WBC count, as your immune system ramps up to try to fight off the infection. ... (2 replies)

I have a question for my husband every time he has gotton his blood work back last 2 years they say his wbc is high not that high but in the 20,s also he is always tired and always complains of aches and pains legs alot ,does this sound like something he can mention to doc (leukemia)we are just trying to find a cause.Thanks (2 replies)
