... I have had a high wbc for about 2 years now. I was as high as 19 last year. My doctor is now concerned and has sent me to a hemotologist. The hemotologist is trying to figure out if the counts are due to infection ( I have recurrent boils) or something else. Would infection raise neuts and lymphocytes as well as drop hct? Any insight?
