Scared wbc count

... My white blood cell count has gone up and down (low to back to normal levels) but now is low again. I have had some ongoing groin and arm pit pain but no raised "bumps". Now my levels are currently 3.88. I am so scared. I am seeing a hematologist/oncologist, who I have seen 3-4 times in the past. He has done an x-ray and ct scans. ... Is the magnitude of a high white blood cell count an indication of how far CML (or ALL) has progressed? or just a general indicator of its presence. If it is, what is deemed an "early" range and what is a "latter" range for that count? (0 replies)
