... ust a fatty tumor, not a cancerous tumor. If it was cancerous they would have told you it was a carcinoma. No need to worry, I am thinner so I can always feel my lymphnodes infection or not, it could be your lymphnodes or just a fatty tumor that they can take out. ... (3 replies)

... your WBC does is NOT the determing factor on treatment. Doctors treat symptoms not numbers. (ex.. enlarged spleen, enlarged lymphnodes, bone marrow, etc) I was diagnosed march 2007. ... If If you feel that you are not getting good answers to your questions, you would want to check with another doctor. But sometimes the answer is that we take a long time to heal from illness if we relapse before we are completely well. Mono is a tough illness to get over and it is hard to be patient, but go with your best idea. (5 replies)
