Lung neoplasm?
Mar 27, 2005
This is my first posting. My mother, 73 years old, was diagnosed w/ NHL-B cell-low grade in her right eye in Feb 2005 (aka "salmon patch"). The growth was removed. Her recent CT scan showed 2 small growths on both her lungs -- under 4 mm. Non calcified, soft tissue. All other organs, including lymph system, are fine. She has no symptoms at all. We're getting a second opinion from an ophthalmologist and oncologist/hematologist. She's never smoked, doesn't drink alcohol at all, and has no family history of NHL. What are the chances that you could have no other symptoms (except the growth in the eye, which has been removed) and have NHL spread to the lungs? Any info would be much appreciated.
