... hi, nodules could be a localised tumour or a nonmalignent swelling because of a cyst or anything like that.First thing is to go for a CT which will twll you the kind of swelling it is then only it can be said what exactly it is and what to be done. (3 replies)

... Of course no one could answear your question except a doctor. Two thing to think about, you use the word noduels as opposed to tumors, where they are both growths on the lungs I have noticed that nodules represents small growths were as tumors suggest a larger mass. The best advice is to simply ask your doctor. ... (3 replies)
Lung neoplasm?

... This is my first posting. My mother, 73 years old, was diagnosed w/ NHL-B cell-low grade in her right eye in Feb 2005 (aka "salmon patch"). The growth was removed. Her recent CT scan showed 2 small growths on both her lungs -- under 4 mm. Non calcified, soft tissue. All other organs, including lymph system, are fine. She has no symptoms at all. We're getting a second opinion... (2 replies)
