... Don't go by what was done years ago, what a family member had done or by wild stories people will tend to tell you. Cases are individual and medicine has come a long way. Changes in CT SCAN

... t the past 3 ct scans that I had done were read manually....the one I had done last week was read by a computer and manually. The computer reading says that the nodule is bigger. Manually it hasn't really grown. He first suggested waiting 6 months to have another one done and then see how the computer reading matches up. ... (20 replies)
... up CT scans every 3 months. On the 6th month scan the nodule in my right lung had tripled in size, and became "spiculated" in shape. Had PET scan and that showed "hypermedobolic uptake" which also indicated cancer. ... (6 replies)
