Hi everyone,

This is the first time i have posted on these boards, but I have been reading them for a few days now. I know that we aren't doctors, but I was wondering if I could ask your opinion on something. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis five years ago. My right foot became numb in the summer of 2000, and my balance was a little off. My mom has MS and my uncle had it, which I think was another factor in my diagnosis. Then about two years ago ( as I was taking part in a study for MS) I was diagnosed with Raynaud's and the malar rash, which now everyone thinks is Rosacea. I also became severly anemic at the time I was in the study. Recently, I have been having a lot of joint pain and fatigue. I have been seeing a rheumatologist for a little over a year now, and she is testing me for Sjogren's because I also had swallowing problems a while back. My question is, is it possible that I was misdiagnosed, and that I actually have Sjogren's and Lupus or something like that? I've read that MS and Sjogren's or Lupus can be difficult to diagnose because they can mimic each other. I'm sorry this is so long, I've just been questioning things a lot lately amd would appreciate your opinions on this. Thanks.
