Hi I could use some input from those that have been through this already. I'll start with some background. I'm 26 years old and in the last year I've been diagnosed with Celiac Disease (took 10 years to finally figure that out) and Grave's Disease. I started getting sick when I was pregnant with my son who is now 20 months old. My thyroid is under control with medication. I ended up in the hospital in June for bilateral pulmonary emboli. The only risk factor I had was birth control pills. I'm on coumadin now until at least November. They tested me for APS along with many other clotting disorders and all came back negative.

Since March I have been having joint pain, which had been progressively getting worse and it seems as if when I had the blood clots everything exploded and I hurt all over. Also have low grade fevers, hair loss, dry mouth, dry eyes, headaches, extreme fatigue, stiffness, sensitivity to sunlight and I'm sure there are a few other things that I can't remember right now. In the past I have also had chronic hematuria, but the last 2 UA's I've had have been clean.

I've seen a rheumatologist and I got my blood work results last Friday. Everything came back negative they did like 15 different tests. However because of all my symptoms and history the rheumatologist gave me a Medrol dosepack and said that if it was Sjogren's or Lupus that I would see a "drastic difference".

This is now my 3rd day on the Medrol and I feel much much better but not 100%. My fatigue is not nearly as bad as it has been, I have no stiffness, my joint pain is better but not gone. I guess I just don't know how much better this medication should make me feel?

Has anyone else had problems like mine but totally negative labs? Thanks for any input, I feel so lost right now!
