Hi Baybreeze,

I just happened upon your original post this afternoon and saw where you get hives in the area of you epidural shots. I had spinal shots for 2 C-sections and have sores break out in that area, on and off over the years. I finally showed this to a dermatologist, who said it was most likely a virus, but I wonder. She gave me an ointment for when it breaks out, and it helps a bit.

About 9 years ago (after my second C-section), I had several skin problems erupt all at once. Rashes on my arms.legs, face and mouth area. I was diagnosed as Hypothyroid, but at the time the Dr mentioned testing me for Lupus. I never actually got a copy of my results, I just assumed the only problem was the hypo.
It took a while for my rashes to get better, and I had a few flares over the years, but I always blamed the thyroid problem. I've recently begun to wonder if I may have some sort of Lupus.
I do have 7 or 8 of CRITERIA FOR DIAGNOSING SLE as stated in the sticky post.
I've recently begun to have a faint rash on my nose and cheeks - the derm said roseaca. I also have facial acne(cystic) that started about 7 years ago - never had it as a teenager.
