10 years ago I was diagnosed with Rt. eye Optic Neuritis. My Opthmalogist said I either had a brain tumor, MS or Luppus. After a MRI, Lumbar Puncture, etc. and massive does of IV Solumedrol, the eye never regained its sight- 20/200 and they could not figure out what was wrong with me. All is remember was that I had a Positive ANA, but none of the docs followed up on this.

Reecently, because of thigh Paresthesi and severe fatigue, I had another MRI of cervical spine with and without contrast and the following tests-

ESR- NEG

ANA 1:320 Homogenous

DsDNA Neg

MRI showed arthritis in neck with slipped disc, but no MS lesions.

Neuro said I should go to a Rheumo.

My question is could I still have Lupus with a ANA 1:320 Homogenous, but have a Neg. DsDNA???

Thanks so much
