I haven't been feeling well since last summer. I was bitten by a deer tick and my primary put me on doxycycline for 21 days. After that I was getting bouts of fatigue, lower back pain, joint pain, constipation, cant lose weight, hair loss, ringing in ears, increase in severity and frequency of migrain headaches, itchy skin, blepharospasm, acne ect. Sent to a neurologists in march, had MRI. Looks ok follow up in October. Prescribed nadolol for migrain prevention. Soon after more symptoms appear. Cold tingley hands and feet, they turn blue and sometimes honeycomb like. Chest pain that doesn't go away with antacids, irregular periods, dye eyes, still have the eye twitch almost constantly, brain fog, extremely irratible, heart palps, lump feeling in throat, food gets caught. Back to primary in July. She notes enlarged thyroid and suspects hypothyroidism. Thyroid ultrasound reveals enlarged heterogeneous thyroid and a solid vascular nodule in the right midpole. To the endocrinologist fine needle aspiration. Paucicellular sample inconclusive repeat us and fna January. Thyroid labs low but within range. Off to ENT for dysphagia. Diagnosed with GERD. On nexium, barium swallow in October. PCP calls and says I have a positive WB. Refered to a infectious disease doc who specializes in lyme. And here we are. He did say that it appears that I have a slight rash on my cheeks.
so that's my story, its so frustrating. I am sure I missed a few things but that's about the jist of it. I know very little about lupus so any info is greatly appreciated.
