Re: Test results

Hi, just asking a question-what made Dr think there was a chance of lymphoma? Was this your GP or rheum? If it was based on your low white count, low white and low lymphocyte counts are very common in lupus. Mine have gotten down to 2500 with 7% lymphocytes, all in the course of my lupus. You might want to ask why there is even a question about that. Enlarged lymph nodes also occur in lupus, if that has been a concern. I hate to see people worry needlessly, and hope that is the case for you. Sometimes an off-the-cuff comment can set up a wall of worry that is unfounded. Most cases of lymphoma in lupus (rare) occur as a result of long term immune suppression from heavy-duty drugs used to treat the lupus over years. Please keep us updated, and I hope your energy picks up.
