... Well, I chose to try Imuran before I go on CellCept. Mostly because of the cost and partly because I have taken Imuran in the past with WONDERFUL results. I think you'd probably benefit from trying something as it's not wise to stay on 10 mg of Pred for the rest of your life. Something to think about........ :wave: Best of luck toyou, Dee (3 replies)

... Does your insurance coverage include prescription mail order? For me, Cellcept will be $99 a month with insurance at the pharmacy or I can get 3 month's worth for $50. My rheumatologist was not happy to write a 3 month prescription. Threatened to revoke it if I missed even 1 lab appointment.... I am nervous about taking this drug so I plan to be very compliant. ... Hi all, Cellcept and Gengraf are immuno suppressant drugs. My sister takes both in small doses every day so that her body doesn't reject her transplanted heart. These are heavy duty drugs but these two have the least reported side effects. They are often also used in combination with things like prednizone to control inflamations. ... cellcept is supposed to be the immunesuppressent with the smallest amount of side effects. I heard a lot of good things about it from some other people on another board. If you have organ involvement, this is the drug of choice!! Good luck! Love, Ali (16 replies)
