... Cpp, hi & welcome. First, there are limitations on the meaning of ANA. It's positive in multiple connective tissue diseases (Sjogren's, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, polymyositis, ETC.) ... Likosan, There are many rashes for lupus that aren't the classsic butterfly across the nose rash. SCLE (sub cutaneous Lupus) and TLE (tumid lupus) tend to favor the upper torso.
