... i actually also had Pleurisy. the fluid lined my lungs and my heart. they gave me diuretics in the hospital to get rid of the fliuid. now i'm currently on prednisone and it's suppose to keep the inflammation under control i think? ... (5 replies)

... It is a steroid, only you don't get the side affects because you only take them for a few days. After I take them for a few days it eases the extremely severe pain in my chest and I don't have to worry about being on prednisone for a long extended time. I hope this helps. ... (26 replies)
