Hi Everyone, here goes a long email/ but I"m confused and don't know what to do.......
I was first tested for lyme by IGeneX with the following results listed first below.
Exactly 38 days later I repeated the Western Blot and also tested for co-infections as we'd not tested for that yet. The two tests seem to contradict? Could one be flawed/ maybe the first contaminated? Can things change that quickly? Now I'm wondering if I have lyme. Any thoughts appreciated.
Here's the results of my FIRST Western Blot from IGeneX
IgM= Positive
18 +

23-25 +

SECOND western blot from IGeneX (38 days later) and co-infections tests below.
IgM = Equivical
18 -

23-25 -

39 +/-

Co-infections tests:
B microti IgM and IgG <1.20
HME Panel (monocyctic) IgM and IgG <1.40 titer
Human Granulocytic (ehrlichiosis?) = IgM and IgG = < 1.40
Bartonella henselaie IgM <1.20 & IgG = 1.40

Does it appear I could have lyme after this second test?
Do the negatives on the coinfections mean I don't have them?

I've yet to talk to the doc and frankly don't even trust my llmd at this point.

I've been through the mill so much to get to this point that I've become the permanent skeptic--sorry :confused: Also, if I've had lyme it's been there for nearly a decade. I'm basically asymptomatic except for on occasion and don't know if it's the lyme or not (suspected so after this first test).
Any help appreciated....
