Hi Anthony. Which lab ran your Western Blot? Remember first that no Lyme test is completely reliable. That said, results can vary by lab. It is important to be tested by a Lyme reputable lab such as IgeneX in Palo Alto, CA.

The IgM tests for a more recent infection and the IgG for a longer-standing one. Bb is the Lyme bacteria. You had bands 41 and 58 reactive:

41 flagellin protein of all spirochetes; this is usually the first to appear after a Bb infection and is specific for all Borrellia

58 unknown but may be a heat-shock Bb protein

You need to be evaluated by a Lyme doctor and also get tested for the co-infections. If you have Lyme, the sooner you get the proper treatment the better.

Keep us posted on how you are doing okay?
