Lyme Disease Message Board

Lyme Disease Board Index

Hi ro4eva, welcome to the board!

In addition to having your blood pressure checked, I recommend considering a thyroid disorder and possibly Lyme disease. When you have your thyroid tests done, ask that they include the Free T3, Free T4 (besides the T3, T4) and thyroid antibody tests. Get copies of your results. Realize that even if your test results are normal, they may not be optimal for you especially when you are having symptoms. Post them here or at the thyroid board at this site. The people there are great and can help you interpret them. I also suggest you post your symptoms there for feedback.

Lyme symptoms can wax and wane. When Lyme disease is a possibility, it is very important to see a knowledgeable doctor. Many doctors do not undertand Lyme and follow outdated protocols. Besides Lyme, ticks can transmit several co-infections including Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis (HME & HGE), Bartonella, and Mycoplasma. Many people who have Lyme are co-infected. It is important to be tested for these by a Lyme reputable lab such as IgeneX in Palo Alto, CA. If you tell me where you are located, I will tell you of the closest knowledgeable doctor to you that I know of .

Don't give up, you will find out what is wrong. Keep us posted on your progress okay?
