Other Tests
Jul 11, 2007
Hi everyone,

I had a copy of the lab results from last Friday. All but two were completed. Im only going to list the Lyme associated ones. Ticker you were interested in which lab performed the tests. I already had the Lyme test from Igenex, which I already posted the results. These new tests aren't in my opinion as sophisticated as IgeneX, in there testing procedures. The tests were: Ehrlichiosis (HME &HGE) IGG & IGM.
(1) Anaplasma phagocytophila IgG Abs, RESULT <1:80 REFERENCE RANGE <1:80 titer,
(2) Anaplasma phagocytophila IgM Abs, RESULT <1:20 REFERENCE RANGE <1:20 titer,
(3) Ehrlichia chaffeensis IgG Abs, RESULT <1:40 REFERENCE RANGE <1:40 titer,
(4) Ehrlichia chaffeensis IgM, RESULT <1:40 REFERENCE RANGE <1:40
(5) B. BURGDORFERI IgG WB, RESULT Negative (Insufficient number of bands).

THIS LAB DIFFERS FROM IgeneX lab results which showed me being positive in 4 different bands.

These tests were performed by Speciality Laboratories Valencia,CA

I am still waiting on the BABESIA MICROTI IGG & IgM ABS report.

I was curious to compare these results to the Igenex report that I had done three weeks ago. I just don't understand why on the Igenex IgG WB report 4 bands were positive. Especially the 41kda band at +++. And then this new report sent out to Speciality Labs by the St. Josephs Mercy Health System is negative??

Ticker I know your out there what do you think? I might just have IgeneX test the BABESIA and other co infections again. Do you know or have heard anything about Speciality Labs in California?

My doctor is waiting on all test reports before he decides anything along the treatment route.

Bye for now
