Hi Alex. Were you ever treated?

Regarding the Western Blot, the CDC requires a large number of bands to show for it to be considered positive yet many people who have Lyme do not have this many bands show. Lyme doctors often focus on which bands show, some are specific for Lyme. It is important to be tested by a Lyme reputable lab such as IgeneX in Palo Alto, CA. They have more sensitive tests and list more bands on the Western Blot.

You already have a positive test, you need to be treated. You also should be tested for all the co-infections.

There are a couple of good Lyme doctors in NJ. Would you like a recommendation?
I have Lyme's and my Epstien Barr levels are off the chart. I've heard that's not unusual for Lyme's patients.

You should check into getting tested with Igenex in Palo Alto, CA. They test with high quality materials. I had 3 Western Blots done w/ Quest that all came back negative. I ended up getting tested w/ Igenex and it came back positive.

Are you seeing a Lyme Literate Doctor? A Lyme's diagnosis should not soley be made from test results...the dr has to take into consideration your symptoms as well (seeing how testing is prone to false negatives).
