I'm curious to hear from anyone who has ever been treated for lyme after being sick for a long time (therefore indicating late or chronic lyme) but having no positive IgG bands and only a positive 41 IgM.

From the sounds of it, it seems everyone being treated for late or chronic lyme who had tests that didn't meet the CDC criteria still had at least a few positive bands. I've been sick for four years and had no positive IgGs.

Also, are the bands that show up on a western blot always the same? Or is it that only the bands they specifically test show up? I don't understand, for instance I read that band 83 is lyme specific and on some poeple's results they noted it came up positive or IND or negative. There isn't even a band 83 listed on my results. Can anyone explain how that works?
