The IVs "intra venous" are done through a PIC line that remains in your arm for the duration of the treatment. It also requires that you have ultra sound scans of the arm to make sure there are no clots forming which can travel to your brain or heart. The IM is just an intra muscular like getting a flu shot, only bigger and in the butt.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant do you find the IM ABX to be of benefit to you compared to what many say about IV ABX treatment?
