Hello-

I am a 42 year old male. I am unemployed and currently have no insurance. I am looking into free health clinics in my area. For the past 5 years I have not been feeling very well. It started with my ankles. I noticed I could not longer bend my knees or sit with my legs crossed. Wasn't feeling any pain, just could not longer bend down to reach anything at the store on a low shelf. Then I noticed my arms were sore. To this day I can not bend my right arm inward towards my chest. I would have days where I had to lift my left arm by grabbing it with my right arm. This would last a day or two then switch to the other side.

Then a few years ago it stopped. I use to limp or hobble when I woke up in the morning or got out of the car. I would walk like I had a sprained ankle. Then it got better. It was not entirely better but a lot better to the point where I would not limp.

Then a little less than a year ago it slowly came back. I would say over the past 6 months it has slowly gotten worse. About 2 weeks ago I noticed my ankles and feet and have swollen a lot. They are huge. My toes are numb and now I have a rash on my ankles.

I have not suffered from any headaches or stomach problems.I do have trouble concentrating, but I always have to some extent.I have days where I am really tired and other days where I am not. Only thing I can say really is a problem is my walking and some joint problems in my arms.

I've looked at Lyme symptoms and from what I can tell I do not have many of the symptoms. Could this still be Lyme disease? As we speak,I am looking into free clinics in my area. I've put this off too long and need to see someone about it. Any advice would be appreciated.
