[COLOR="Purple"]Landis, don't let what you hear about how many cases have been in your county stear you away from getting to a LLMD. Testing is NOT reliable, I am finding out testing isn't reliable for co-infections either. But then neither is it reliable for cancers, pregnancies, thyroids...ect....

IF you want you can find Igenex on line....contact them and request a test kit. It is expensive. If you have insurance you will have to ask your insurance if they cover specialty testing. many people pay out of pocket for it.

But then maybe you have a co-infection and not necessarily lyme. So the reason you should be seen ONLY by a Lyme and co-infection specialist.

I am in Calif. and the county that I believe I first picked up lyme they told me there was NO WAY it was in this county. Well guess what...now they are saying it is second to New England to having it....crazy ....

And some one correct me if i am wrong...But I do belived they only count the cases that are CDC positive...Well a huge per centage of us are NOT CDC positive. And doctors DO NOT always report the cases....

Hope that helps...

Jodie
