Lyme Disease Board Index

It's been about 48 days since my tick bite. Indicating my the size of the tick, it was attached for about 2 days. Not knowing better, I pinched it really hard and gave it 3 really hard pulls before it came off with a little skin. 2 days later I got the bulls-eye rash which I thought was an allergic reaction. 9 days after the tick bite I learned I needed medical attention and saw by general practitioner that day. That day I took Doxycycline Hyclate 100 MG twice a day for 10 days. The result of my Lyme AB Screen Test done 10 days after the bite by Quest Diagnostics was < or = 0.90. I still have the bulls-eye rash 48 days after the bite. It's light pink in color (like a heat rash). The only symptoms I've had are rashes 1/4 inch to 3 inches on my feet, legs, hands and arms that go away in 1-2 days. Sometimes they itch and itch cream takes away the itch. They started showing up about 4 weeks after the bite. I take Prednisone 13 MG per day (I wish I never had). I have an appointment with a local Lyme Doctor here in Minneapolis, MN tomorrow at 9am.

Here are my questions:

Is it obvious from my symptoms that I am infected?

Did I take the Doxycycline Hyclate 100 MG twice at day for 10 days long enough?

Should I have more testing done?

Does a corticosteroid (Prednisone) have an effect on tick bacteria?

Thank you in advance for your response.
