Lyme Disease Board Index

I just got my results back from igenex friday and don't know what to do next. I was diagnosed with ms and my neurologist tried forcing me into taking copaxone. (I did not!) he would not test me for lyme so I had my naturopathic doctor sign for my results. Here they are...

Igm results
23-25 +
31 +++
41 +
83-93 IND

Igenex positive
CDC positive

Igg results
39 +
41 +
58 +

Igenex positive
CDC negative

Would you folks consider this positive for lyme if just the igm is CDC positive? Could this be a false postive? Anyone know of any llmd close to New Brunswick Canada/Maine USA? GP's and neuros here don't believe in lyme so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Thanks for the support! Can't wait to hear your input!
[COLOR="Teal"]Hi, Arsenand, It says you are positive both through the CDC and Igenex.
There are more false negatives that false positives.

I am with a specialist he says, the Igg and igm do not matter. Even if it is a long standing infection and is dormant, it STILL can cause havock in your body.

You will need to seek out a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor. Doctor that specializes in tick born infections. They are few and far in between, but to get the proper medical assistance that is whom you will need to go to. Or you will forever fight the battle of finding a doctor to give you the proper treatment.

Lyme is a political disease. There are not many doctors that will treat with long term treatment plans. So the reason you need a LLMD. And beings they are constantly battling to keep their license, most do not take insurance. Most you will need to pay out of pocket some how.

Sorry for what your going through.

There is a thread above on How to Share LLD names.

Hope you find the right protocol for you.
