[COLOR="DarkGreen"]This is really good info for Lyme Newbies.

just wanted to throw out there.

That Lyme Literate Medical Doctors go solely on Clinical Evaluation. As Tess was saying test are not accurate. Yes the best is Igenex to date. But I also tested negative with them, for years. Finally after 12 years of treatment for Lyme and co-infections. I got a Positive through Igenex. Still negative in the CDC eyes.
And babesia finally showed up on their test too.

The CDC uses the bands as tracking the different strains. They should never be used for a positive or negative test. There are over 300 strains of Lyme. Labs do not test for all 300. Just one reason testing isn't accurate.

A good LLMD will treat with out having a positive. And if you are displaying symptoms.

Lyme doctors are few and far in between. They are always fighting to keep their license. Beings the treatment that Lyme needs can be costly for the insurance companies.

There is good info in the Threads above, : Some Lyme Disease Information , and Lyme Disease Information. There is information to help get you started.

You do not need to have a bulls eye rash, swollen joints, fevers ect to have Lyme. We all have different symptoms.
Lyme causes over 300 medical conditions. And if you don't go to a Lyme specialist for proper diagnoses we continue to be treated or not treated for what we truly have.

Always go with your gut feeling. And pursue the help you need!
