I never knew I had something wrong and have labeled myself a ditz and an air-head. ... Hi. This is my first message here, thanks in advance for your help. I've been feeling ill for almost 5 years now. About 4 years ago, I discovered the Lyme disease (there was not a lot of info here in the eastern part of Canada at that time, but things are changing pretty fast). MANY of my symptoms are those of Lyme. So I've managed to have a Igenex Lyme + co-infections test... (4 replies)

... Does anyone know how long it takes to get results from Igenex? My Dr.'s office says 2 weeks but that seems like a long time. I got my blood drawn on 6/12 and the results are not back yet. Part of me wants a positive result - just so I can finally get an answer of what is wrong with me. The other part of me wants a negative results because Lyme is so horrible! As far... (3 replies)
... No doctor here, but your western blot would IMO is quite positive for Lyme. A regular Dr will not be able to understand, you would simply be wasting your time. A good LLMD can read between the lines. By the way most LLMD consider IND as a weak positive, you have many Lyme specific bands! Lyme will give you those horrible symptoms, I finally have an app with LLMD myself,... (4 replies)

As you know, I'm new to this world of Lyme so I'll let the other more experienced chime "expert" opinion here....but, it seems to me you now know the beast you are battling. ... To rule in or out Lyme, you truly need to see a LLMD. Many do not take insurance, so we have to pay out of pocket. But it is so worth spending time on other tests, and being ran through the ringer. No matter what you have besides the Babesia, it needs to be looked into. ... (3 replies)
