... Frango, I have been tested for lyme and I am seronegative. I have undergone many, many tests...2 Lumbar punctures, many MRI's, EMG, EEG, blood work up the wazoo...you name it, I probably have had it in a period of 5 years. ... Hi elr1227: Wow- my gosh, our symptoms sound so similar. I also have that tingling between my shoulder blades-that has been going on for probably 1-2 years and I have never heard anyone else mention that. I had a slight Bells Palsy on the right side of my face that pretty much went away as soon as I started doxycycline. From what I have read bilateral Bell's Palsy is... (15 replies)
... Frango, It's funny that you described the manner in which you deal with this problem. I too, find myself flexing the affected muscles. Often times, when I am trying to fall asleep I find myself flexing my muscles to make this stop. I often find myself crossing my feet and interlocking them while pointing my toes. I have read a little bit about this and read somewhere... (15 replies)

I also told her of a strange tingling/itching/burning sensation that I had from between my shoulder blades to the base of my neck. ... Hi elr1227: I get the shaking also. I always described them as tremors, but my husband says that when it happens at night the feeling that he gets through the bed is like I have uncontrollabe chills. For me it is in my legs and I can stop it if I flex my muscles and try to hold them still, but the last time this happened and I held it the shaking started in my arms, then... (15 replies)

... I have been seeing a LLMD since January this year, however I have been ill since August 2000. My illnes started with Bilateral Bells Palsy, which I was told was not Lyme. About 6 to months later I started to develop a tremor. Since then, many more symptoms have been showing up, but since I had seen a "specialist" for Lyme and deemed not infected based on initial serologies,... (15 replies)

... Hi Judi and welcome. I don't have the jittery, rumbly feeling that you describe. Sounds just awful. I do have other symptoms though. Right now I am dealing with day 4 of severe nausea / tummy ache with fever, headache, aches and pains. Stinks to be sick doesn't it? I am on Doxy. I take 600 mg per day. Sounds as if the small dosage of Doxy you took... (15 replies)
... Hi Frejya: First off, welcome to the lyme board and I am sorry you are not feeling well. Your symptoms sound very familiar to me. The rubbling that you describe is something that I describe as feeling like I'm plugged in to an electrical socket. I also have days that I feel like I am going to start seizing or convulsing. Get tested for lyme by Igenex lab in... (15 replies)
