... The tests are similar to HIV tests. Normally there is a screen test done. EIA or Elisa. Something like that. If those come back reactive the a western blot is done. With lyme it seems the screen, ie. Elisa is not that accurate. Igenex runs the normally confirmatory test, western blot, even if screens are neg. ... (3 replies)
... IGM western blot. I do recommend this. I did test positive for babesia. So whether thru Igenex or one of the other labs get the co infections tested. But stick with Igenex for the lyme test. They are the most accurate. ... (7 replies)
