... hi!!! i am on doxy for 4 months, i started with 200 a day.. then 300 a day and day number 10 had sooo much nausea for 3 days that couldnt take it anymore, so went down to 200, a week later back to 300 , again after 10 days big time nausea, nothing would help, so i am taking 200 now... i dont feel any difference, seems like sun dont affect me, of course i dont expose my self to... ... I'm on minocycline. Similiar to doxy but not as sun sensitive. LLMD said it is not quite as good as doxy but that I'm out in the sun to much to take a chance on doxy. Prayers..... ... (26 replies)

Do not have any dairy, magnesium or iron products two hours before or after taking it or it will not be absorbed properly. ... Hi M and welcome. I am on Doxy, 600mg per day. I noticed a slight improvement around month #3. I am on month #9 now and haven't improved for a while because I found out I have a co-infection. I take my Doxy with plain toast or crackers, otherwise I get a stomach ache. PLEASE avoid the sun. I have been badly burned this year 3 times, even though I was wearing... (26 replies)
