I'm new here, so don't hesitate to tell me if I'm in the wrong place. Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.

I am female, 23, and generally in good health.

About 5 days ago I noticed swelling in a lymph node on the left side of my groin. Over the next 2 days, the swelling increased, and now I can feel several nodes are swollen, only on the left side. They are quite painful, and it also seems like the area around them is inflamed (it's kind of "squishy" when I touch my skin there and tender for at least an inch on all sides of the swollen nodes).

I have a slight cold, but none of my other nodes are swollen and the swelling started about 2 days before I noticed any cold symptoms.

I have also had pain in my lower left side abdominal since the swelling started. It is a deep inside pain and hurts a little bit pretty constantly, but more sharply if I suck in my stomach or when I walk.

I am worried it might be some kind of lymphoma, but I don't know much about cancer. My grandpa just died of esophogeal cancer, and no other cancers run in my family.

I am caucasian, 5'4", and weigh approx 120 pounds (if any of that matters). Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I do not have medical insurance and I really can't afford to go to the doctor at the moment. Thank you!
UPDATE:

I now also have a very painful, bruised feeling just below where the swelling is, where my thight meets my groin area. There is no visible bruising. I also have some red spots that don't so much itch as kind of hurt when i touch them, these are on the side of my left hip.

Please, any advice or similar experiences would be helpful. I don't know what to think.
