Red Burning Scrotum
Jan 17, 2011
Hello. My story is much like all yours with the exception of one detail. Please read I need help and am very depressed.

I had unprotected sex for the first time this summer with three girls, stupid stupid stupid, I know now. I thought I was young and invincible. I am 19 now. The fourth girl was my girlfriend. Early in our relationship I developed red bumps under my foreskin and on my tip. I thought it was herpes and lost my mind, went for many checkups, and everyone told me it was not herpes but a yeast infection or jock itch, so i used the cream and the bumps subsided. My gf and I then used a condom for a couple weeks during the healing process. Once we returned to unprotected sex the bumps would reappear, much smaller and disappear within a day. This was most likely irritation. I went back to the clinic and they told me I no longer has a yeast infection or anything, but I knew it was never really gone.

My gf and I broke up and about two weeks ago I had protected sex with a girl. She gave me oral sex however. About ten days after our encounter my foreskin started to itch, much like when I first got the "yeast infection or jock itch" whatever it was/is. A day later my balls started to hurt, and later that night they started to burn, and have not stopped burning now for three days. On the second day the burning spread down to my lower butt cheeks and upper thighs. I am getting my STD tests done today but I fear the worst, that this could be Herpes or Chlamydia. I have been reading the red burning scrotum threads and almost all the cases sound like mine except for one thing. My scrotum burns but it IS NOT red. What is wrong with me? I need help, I am in terrible pain, can barely work, seriously depressed, and cannot sleep. Please get back to me with any help, advice, similar stories. Thank you.

Update: I have now noticed red areas of my scrotum and little white scale like things, I showed this to the doctor and she had never heard of Red Scrotum Syndrome and stated I have been reading too much on the internet. I then proceeded to tell her that there are thousands of posts from other guys like me, she said I might have Erythrasma, let me know what you guys think now. She also prescribed me hoprox cream. Any advice is welcome, thank you.
