... dermatologist's opinion rather than that of a surgeon. Now you know a little more about all this stuff it would be good to ask about your doctor's justifications for recommending a circumcision. Also if he thinks you have an infection or BXO or just believes stretching will not work even with the cream. ... (99 replies)

... sounds like it could be BXO - I forget what the letters stand for. This can be serious, and if that's what it is, it needs to be treated, usually with a steroid cream. See a doctor to make sure. (5 replies)

... I did it for medical reasons (BXO), in my case it was done under local anesthetic and took about 30 minutes. The recovery is more annoying than problematic, I had to clean the site and put some cream (don't remember what) for about 3 - 4 weeks, nightime erections were painful, but other than that I've experienced no pain, just a bit of disconfort in the first few days....
