Yeah, although I gave advice to the original poster as to try and join different groups, etc., personally, for ME, I also like being alone and feel the same way as you do - not lonely, just alone. I find things to do as well. I am "different", too, and I make friends easily and enjoy company sometimes, but much of the time I would PREFER being alone. I am not antisocial, and my family is with me on an off during the day, but as for friends, they're just not an everyday thing for me. Oh, and I am also bipolar. Well, actually, I'm not "full blown" bipolar, but I am was diagnosed as cyclothymic years ago, but my biggest problems was my panic attacks. See ya:)
