... e side effect I see a lot in the nursing home I volunteer at. The long term effects of that drug aren't worth the risk in my opinion. Just a side note, they give klonopin to alcoholics that are trying to quit drinking to lessen the effects of the withdrawal ie. delirium tremens. ... (6 replies)

... Wouldn't recommend it.. Klonopin is long lasting so it will not be out of your system in just 12 hours time. It WILL make the effect of alcohol stronger, but by how much, well that just depends on the person. ... (5 replies)
