Miscarriage & Still Birth Message Board

Miscarriage & Still Birth Board Index

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how tough it is to move on after having a miscarriage - especially when it's something that you really, really wanted. I will tell you that it should not affect your future abilities to get pregnant. I was actually pregnant again 2 weeks after my miscarriage and am now 23 weeks pregnant! We were not trying, but obviously we did not use precaution.

For me, my miscarriage started with just a little bit blood, one morning, when I wiped. Slowly throughout the day it got heavier. By bedtime, I started cramping along with the bleeding. After a few hours of really bad cramps, it eased up a bit, I took a Tylenol PM & felll asleep. I was 8 weeks pregnant, but the baby had passed sometime around 6 weeks.

I'm very happy that I miscarried naturally though - I feel that I got some closure on it & it was my experience with the baby I didn't get to keep.
