I am sorry for your loss! Definately speak with your DR first before having intercourse just to be sure!

I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks in December 2006 & had to have the D&C & was told no sex until after the bleeding stopped which was a fair while anyway..... but i think i waited until after my first normal period anyhow!!!

I know what you mean about just wanting to move forward with your life.... it can get very frustrating! I think the best way to deal with the intercourse issue is to just talk to DH about it & explain to him your feelings & that you're not wanting to have sex to get pregnant, but to feel closer to him & to move forward with your life like you said!!! I'm sure he will respond positively to this & you'll probably find that he is reluctant to have sex again because he is unsure of your feelings & wants to make sure that you are not only physically ready..... but emotionally aswell!!!
