I always received the Rhogam shot around 28 weeks gestation, and after the birth of my children. I am not sure if that is protocol with all pregnancies, but for me it was beings I am rh- and father is rh+.

Hope this answers your question & you should also talk to your doctor to see what he/she recommends for you to have a healthy pregnancy.
