... I am so sorry that you have been through this as well!!! It's an awful thing to have to deal with!! My regular OBGYN called me back today and told me to come right in. She took a quick look and took blood. No ultrasound - I don't think she does them in her office (is that weird??). She called my fertility clinic and yelled at them for (1) sending me back to her when... (7 replies)

... The doc told me that if it is the first time it happens then generally it is the body knowing that the DNA didn't connect properly and it is your body's way of shutting things down. Hang in there, most likely that was the case and you'll be able to start trying again real soon. I pray that is the case for you. I have a friend that lost her baby at 7 mos. pregnant and she... ... My hcg levels went down rather fast. I miscarried in August (at 7 weeks) and it took about 1-2 weeks for my levels to go all of the way down. My DR had my levels tested every few days until they went all the way down, to make sure I didn't need a D&C. I'm surprised your DR didn't do the same. Did you have a d&c? If you didn't you might need to go to the DR to make sure... (5 replies)

... Hi, I recently found out that I am miscarrying (at 7 weeks). I found out this morning I need to schedule a D&C - the sac is still there and the lining is too thick. Does anyone have any advice - is the procedure painful? I cannot take any time off from work - will I be able to go right to work afterwards? And also, how long will it be before I should expect a... ... Hey Manda- I don't have an answer for you, but just wanted to let you know that I've been wanting to know the same thing. I'm dying to start trying again. I just had a miscarriage about a month ago. I had a D&C, my pregnancy was an IVF baby too. It took us years to get pregnant and I'm really not keen on wasting time waiting for my period to become regular. I haven't had my... (4 replies)

I find this a... (38 replies)
