... While my situation is a bit different (I'm mentally ill) I would still offer the advice that has worked for me so far. The only way I've made it through is by writing to my baby every day. I had a missed miscarriage and d/e all by feb 8 and I still find myself avoiding places with lots of babies and avoiding facing my grief. The writing has really helped me and my Psychiatrist... ... If you heard the heartbeat than that is a great sign. Do you have many pregnancy symptoms? I miscarried at 6.5 weeks and but think I had lost the baby a couple of weeks prior. My breast were not as sore etc. You are also nearing your 2nd trimester so you should be feeling... (4 replies)

... I swear I am about to go crazy. I am so so paranoid with this pregnancy. So paranoid. Just because I haven't had a successful one yet. Two weeks ago I thought I was cramping, my husband was out of town, I was supposed to go with my mother in law shopping. I was crying because I just knew I was going to m/c. I call my mom in law and cry to her saying, "by the way I am pregnant... (14 replies)

... The pathology report is in and the tissue did contain chorionic villi. Although we can't be 100% certain that it was another miscarriage all the clinical evidence points to that direction: Elevated HCG 3 months after miscarriage, had a period in October but not in November, enlarged uterus, felt nauseated and exhausted but blamed it on my thyroid even though labs came back... ... I'm so sorry you've had to endure this. The wait is agonizing. I have had two missed miscarriages (baby died but never had bleeding or cramping). I'm going through one right now (things still haven't started up; I'll probably be induced if they don't soon). I have tried several herbal remedies both times but nothing worked for me. That's not to say it won't work for you so... (3 replies)
... I've had 2 miscarriages. The first one I let happen naturally after I found out we'd lost the fetus at 9 weeks. The 2nd at 10 weeks, I had a D&C. I would definitely recommend the D&C. For some people, including me, the natural way was VERY physically painful and took about 48 hours to be completed. It was the worst thing I've ever been through. I had dealt with the emotional... ... I've had four miscarriages. Three I delivered at home (they were first trimester losses). The third one was I was 17 weeks. They wanted to do a D&E (16 weeks seems quite far along to do a D&C; a D&E requires different medical equipment and is a slightly different procedure). I refused since I wanted to see and hold my baby. I waited two weeks to go into labor on my own and... (18 replies)
