highandlow89,
Have you had any MRIs done? Lesions, are scars...the scars are from damage caused by the disease. MS is an autoimmune disease and it attacks the central nervous system, (eyes, spine and brain). In an MRI, the damage shows up as white spots, called lesions.
You would not necessarily need lesions to cause these symptoms, because these symptoms are not necessarily MS.
MSmimics 400 other diseases. No two cases of MS are exactly alike- and the only way to rule it out, or diagnos it, is to see an MS specailist and have the correct testing done.
To find out more about how they diagnos it, you should read up on the revised McDonald criteria. All doctors use this for MS.
