I've been very confused as to what is going on with me. I have been seeing the dr for severe leg weakness, worse on the right. My legs ache and cramp sooo bad sometimes. It feels as if I ran a marathon. I also get bad spasms and twitches at night. My face gets so itchy at times, comes out of nowhere lasts a day or 2 then gone. Alot of pins and needles feelings in my legs, buttocks and crotch, worse on the right. I feel as if I have to conciously make sure I raise my rt leg so my foot doesn't scrape the floor sometimes. Worse of all I get these bouts of complete and utter exhaustion, I barely have enough energy to do the bare minimum. And what's strange is my symptoms were really bad for a while and then "POOF" they were gone, I felt as if I imagined or excaggerated the whole thing. Then "POOF" it acts up again.

Looking back I've always had nerve problems, severe bil carpal tunnel, my hands are crap now from it, I'm queen clutz, ulnar nerve transposition, disc problems, migraines, so who knows what the heck is going on.

I'm seeing a neuro, had a l spine mri, do have a hx of disc herniation but he and 2 other docs don't think that's the culprit. Had an enhanced thoraracic mri, showed a herniation there, no enhancement or lesions. Not sure if that's the culprit. Gotta go back in 2 wks. He said my physical exam so far showed rt leg weakness and some " hyper reflexes " and something about spasicity. Basically I think my muscles just seemed tight all the time, especially on the right.

I've done some investigating on my symptoms and ms and myeitis come up a lot. I hope I'm not being too paranoid, I just would like to know why at 38yrs old I feel 90 sometimes.

Any suggestions on what to do next would be greatly appreciated. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I have to see the neurologist again in
2 weeks, I think he thinks I'm crazy.....I'm afraid he might be right.

Thanks,

kaccy
