Hi. I haven't posted here in awhile, but I have a question and I wanted to know if someone might be able to help. I have had double vision for over a year now. Brain MRI showed "area of demylinatation" on the brainstem. I have had MRIs on all of the spine. No leisions shown, but it did show I have severe spondilytis in the lumbar spine. I have had 2 episodes of dizziness and difficulty walking- which lasted about 3 days. Neuro checks were way off and that is why the spinal MRI was ordered. I also have tremors in my hands. Mostly the left.
I haven't been diagnosed with MS because there is no other leision.( thats what the docs. say.) I have been put on amanadine for fatigue and they have suggested a spinal tap and I was wondering if someone could share with me how this is. I don't want there to be anything wrong, but its almost like I don't want to go through that and have it not show anything. Getting some kind of diagnosis is better than not knowing. Sometimes I feel like I'm crazy and I am imagining all of this, but the doctor says I'm not. It just gets frustrating.
I hope all of you had a very nice Thanksgiving :) I look forward to any help that someone might have.
Thanks!
Katri
