Is there any research happening regarding female hormones (estrogen & progesterone) and MS? I ask because it is a known anomaly that MS symptoms recede or disappear with pregnancy and some drugs used to treat MS symptoms (I.E., Provigil) interfere with that hormone uptake process... Is there a connection, or am I imagining things?
Hi Lisa

I personally think that there is an connection, but for awhile I was using Progesterone Cream to help offset my Estrogen dominance, but I didn't think that it was doing anything for me so I stopped using [it's a bit expensive] I don't get my "friend" anymore [had a hysterectomy] but a couple of times a year I get PMS and it makes my MS symptoms worse.

There is alot of info on the www about this topic I just did a quick look :)
